Scott serves as the Head of Development of BlueRidge Real Estate Partners where he leads the firm’s development and land advisory platform. In that role, he sources and underwrites land development and brokerage opportunities, structures partnerships, and advances projects from acquisition through entitlement, construction, and delivery.

Prior to joining BlueRidge, Scott served as the Chief Development Officer of Artisan Land Companies where he focused on identifying and vetting potential new land investments, activating existing holdings for the firm, and marketing Artisan and client owned properties. Prior to Artisan, Scott spent eight years in Stream Realty Partners’ Atlanta office, leading the industrial development efforts for the firm and their capital partners. While at Stream, Scott also grew their office landlord representation portfolio by 1.5 million square feet, leased over 800,000 square feet of office space throughout the Atlanta metro, and completed over $200 million worth of transactions across all asset classes.

Scott began his real estate career at Realty Capital Securities, where he raised capital for a number of real estate private equity and debt funds on behalf of the firm. While at RCS, Scott raised over $500 million and participated in six IPO listings on the NYSE and Nasdaq.

Following his time raising capital, Scott attended business school at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. While at Goizueta, Scott was the President of his class, a Dean’s List scholar, and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma academic honors society for finishing in the top percentile of his class.
